About this position

Scam GuardDog is seeking an experienced and highly organized Agile Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of our cutting-edge anti-scam solutions. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for driving project success through effective planning, execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate agile project management processes, ensuring adherence to Scrum methodologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Create and maintain project plans, including sprint planning, task assignment, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure project transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks to keep projects on track and within scope.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively, ensuring efficient utilization and optimal allocation.
  • Foster a culture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous learning within the development teams.
  • Provide regular project status updates and reports to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and managing expectations.
  • Continuously improve project management processes, tools, and practices to enhance team productivity and project delivery.
  • Mentor and coach team members on agile methodologies, project management best practices, and professional development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager, leading cross-functional teams in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Solid understanding of agile principles, practices, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) and agile software (e.g., Atlassian suite).
  • Experience in the software development lifecycle and familiarity with coding practices is a plus.
  • Certification in agile methodologies (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM) is preferred.
